House on the Hill is situated on a working sheep farm nestled on the banks of Duiwenhoks River near Heidelberg. It is the ideal destination for those seeking a tranquil getaway in the countryside.
Guests can choose between 3 units, located on the banks of the farm dam and accommodating 4 guests each. Each unit consists of 2 bedrooms furnished with a queen-size bed and 2 single beds, respectively. There is a bathroom in each unit that is fitted with a bath and shower.
Every unit features a kitchenette equipped with a fridge-freezer, gas stove, oven, microwave, coffee machine, and washing machine. A comfy seating area, dining table, and a TV with Netflix and Disney Plus are available in the open-plan living area. The units open onto a private wooden deck boasting a wood-fired hot tub overlooking the farm and mountains in the distance. Guests are also offered complimentary Wi-Fi.
Guests have access to a communal pizza oven as well as a braai area. Fresh cow's milk and farm-fresh eggs are available daily. The Gysmanshoek Pass starts on the farm and is ideal for mountain biking, while rowing can be enjoyed on the farm dam.
