Breakage Deposit
A refundable breakage deposit of R10000 is payable directly to the property.
House Rules
A refundable security deposit must be paid on arrival. This can be paid by credit card, authorization on a credit card must be given; this can take up to 5 working days to release after departure. The amount is not payable by debit card, cash, or EFT. The security deposit can only be done at reception on arrival. On departure, the management will reverse this transaction, less the fuel used and damages, if any.
Guests will be required to accept the full terms and conditions as provided by Houseboat Hire upon arrival.
Please inform management of late arrivals after 17:00. No boarding will be permitted after 19:30.
Please note a fishing permit is needed, and can be bought from a Post Office.
A skipper's license is not required to book. If you are without a skipper's license, you can do a practical exam on arrival and you will be issued a Restricted Interim Certificate of Competence. This is a temporary license for the houseboats.
