Hoyohoyo is a Shangaan / Xitsonga word used to express the highest form of an enthusiastic, festive, zealous, celebratory and royal welcome mood. This type of welcome which is always practised at Hoyohoyo, making guests feel at home.
Hoyohoyo Chartwell Lodge and Conference Venue is a boutique hotel setting in the heart of Johannesburg’s northern suburbs that offers a country style backdrop for the discerning businessman, executive or tourist. Hoyohoyo Chartwell Lodge and Conference Venue offers a tranquil, peaceful and a country feel atmosphere in the middle of the Johannesburg Metropolitan.The estate is surrounded by a profusion of bird life and some free roaming guinea fowls which give the lodge its African and bushveld Ambience inspired by its natural surroundings, water features, and beautiful gardens.
In-rooms facilities include controlled air-conditioning, a direct-dial telephone, digital safe, flat screen TV with select DStv satellite channels, hairdryer, mini bar, tea- and coffee-making facilities. It offers private bathrooms with shower and bath. Wireless internet access, microwave, kitchenette with fully-equipped self-service option.
The lodge offers a variety of value-added services, which includes a braai area, lapa for post-conferencing relaxation, special occasions or for a weekend getaway with friends and small groups. Its beautiful gardens and open spaces make it an ideal location for weddings and other intimate social gatherings that cater for children who will have full access to the jungle gym and jumping castles.
