Description
Located just outside of Pietermaritzburg, Impala and Kudu Room offers lovely self-catering accommodation situated on a 570-hectare farm boasting acacia woodland, spectacular red cliffs, deep forested valleys and waterfalls on the Umgeni and Rietspruit Rivers.
This cottage can comfortably accommodate 8 guests at a time and comprises 2 bedrooms and 2 en-suite bathrooms. The first bedroom is furnished with a double bed and the second bedroom contains 4 single beds and a bunk bed. Both en-suite bathrooms are fitted with a shower, washbasin and toilet.
Additionally, there is a kitchen equipped with a gas stove, microwave, fridge-freezer, cutlery and crockery as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. Leading from this kitchen is a lounge and dining space.
Outside guests have their own patio with a picnic table and a portable braai. All guests have full access to the property’s communal swimming pool.
The Umgeni River forms part of the boundary of the Reserve and is home to many species of freshwater fish as well as some resident crocodiles. This property is also part of a 3500-hectare Conservancy bordering the reserve so one can gaze beyond the borders onto more beautiful bush and farmland beyond.
