Description
Inglenook Farmhouse offers absolute privacy in a contemporary self-catering farmhouse set on 25 acres of fynbos. Inglenook is just short drive from Cape Town, and 16 Mile Beach. This is the ideal getaway from family or friends.
Situated on a working farm, the home itself is surrounded by fynbos and other indigenous flora and fauna. Inglenook Farmhouse can accommodate up to 12 guests and comprises 5 bedrooms, of which 4 are downstairs. The upstairs bedroom is open-plan and has its own bathroom.
Two of the 4 downstairs bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms fitted with a toilet, shower, and washbasin. The other 2 sharing room share a large and beautifully designed bathroom fitted with a toilet, shower, bath, and double washbasin. Each room is spacious and contains a double bed. There is also an additional shower and bathroom for guest use. Each bedroom has its own indoor fireplace and each leads out onto a patio area. The upstairs bedroom contains a double bed and 2 single beds and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a toilet, shower, bath, and double washbasin.
There is an open-plan downstairs living area, kitchen, and entertainment area flowing into the outdoor pool and entertainment area. The kitchen is fully equipped with crockery and cutlery, cookware, a gas hob, and electric oven, a fridge-freezer, a coffee machine, and a wine fridge. There is a separate storage room adjacent to the kitchen with a dishwasher, a washing machine, and a tumble dryer. Sliding doors open up to create an open and free-flowing area that is perfect for those hot summer days.
The swimming pool area boasts sunbeds and loungers around the pool, as well as a braai area. There is also a bathroom/changing room, outdoor shower and sauna! In addition, there are two fire pits for late-night chats, one in front of the pool and the other away from the house to really view the stars. A table and chairs for alfresco dining complete the package. Secure parking is available.
