Description
Izintaba Lodge is situated on Izintaba Private Game Reserve, located just 290 km north of OR Tambo International Airport, and a 2,5 hour drive north of Pretoria, outside of Vaalwater in the Waterberg.
Izintaba Lodge has the capacity to accommodate up to 19 guests across 5 bedrooms and a loft. On the lower level, there are 3 en-suite bedrooms furnished with king-size beds. The fourth bedrooms has 5 single beds and the fourth bedroom has 4. These 2 upstairs bedrooms share an inter-leading bathroom with a shower. Additionally, there is a spacious loft room on the upper level with 4 single beds and a double sleeper couch if required. Maximum 10 adults and 9 children.
The kitchen is fully equipped, featuring a combination fridge-freezer, a dishwasher, 2 stoves, and 2 ovens, one electric and the other gas. Guests can enjoy an open-plan lounge and dining area as well as a bar with a pool table. Other amenities include a private swimming pool at the private the braai area and lapa.
Izintaba Lodge serves as an ideal family holiday destination, extending a warm welcome to children of all ages. It grants guests the freedom to savour the bush at their own pace, whether through walking, hiking, mountain biking, fishing, birdwatching, or embarking on a game drive within the farm's expansive 1200-ha game reserve. Guests can opt for a game drive in their own vehicle or book a guided game drive in an open game viewer. Izintaba Private Game Reserve further offers 2 sunset decks with breathtaking views of the Waterberg, 2 picnic sites, and a dam for fishing enthusiasts.
