Description
J Bay Junction is a spacious self-catering holiday home less than 100 m from the beach in Pringle Bay, and can accommodate up to 12 guests. The courtyard splash pool adds a welcome addition to a hot summers day.
The multi-storey house comprises 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms located on the ground floor, and a kitchen, a scullery, and a lounge that opens onto a deck on the first floor.
The main bedroom is furnished with an extra-length king-size bed and has an en-suite bathroom with a shower, and a toilet. Three of the bedrooms each contain a queen-size bed, and the fifth bedroom is furnished with 2 bunk beds for 4 children. The 4 bedrooms share the use of 2 bathrooms with showers. Also located downstairs, is a laundry room that is equipped with a washing machine, and a tumble-dryer.
An open Ash Wood staircase, that is unfortunately not suitable for toddlers, leads from the ground floor to the first-floor entertainment area which has lovely mountain views. The scullery is equipped with a preparation sink, a dishwasher, and a fridge-freezer, while the open-plan kitchen is equipped with a 5-plate stove and oven, a microwave, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities, and meals can be enjoyed at the breakfast bar or dining table.
Guests can relax in the lounge that is equipped with a TV with selected DStv channels, and opens onto the wooden deck. An indoor braai area with seating as well as Wi-Fi access is also available for guests to use.
The property is fenced, and a double garage is available for use on request. Guests are provided with a starter pack of toilet paper, braai wood, as well as black bags, and a friendly live-in butler is available twice a week for household chores. Extra housekeeping can be arranged at an additional cost directly with him.
The bay offers swimming, snorkelling, and between June to December whales can also be seen. Pringle Bay is surrounded by a variety of fynbos and a variety of bird and animal life can be seen when exploring the area.
All rental properties in Pringle Bay come with a warning about wild life and baboons in the area. Please remember and respect the fact that you are in a conservation area.
