Description
Jack's Place is a renovated farmhouse situated in the lovely area of the Overberg, in close proximity to the town of Bredasdorp. The house stands in a fenced camp where eland, springbuck and zebras graze.
Jack's Place sleeps 8 guests and has 3 spacious bedrooms, the first bedroom is furnished with a double bed while the remaining bedrooms have single beds, and 2 guests can be accommodated in the living area on a sleeper couch. The house has 2 bathrooms, one with a bath, shower, basin and toilet, and the other with a shower, a basin and a separate toilet.
The braai area is located on the front patio where guests can sit and enjoy the South African pastime and the magnificent view. The fully-equipped kitchen includes a fridge-freezer, stove, microwave and coffee and tea-making facilities. The living room is the perfect place to relax with a book or to watch your favourite channels on a TV with DStv.
Motor vehicles can be parked at the house in an open garage.
Guests can enjoy the circular mountain biking route of about 15 km, birdwatchers can expect to see more than 75 species of birds, under which the Fish Eagle is present and children will enjoy swimming in the river, whilst playing on tubes or canoeing with the canoe that is on the premises. This guesthouse is only 9 km from Bredasdorp, a town that has excellent restaurants and enough shops to browse around. A visit to Kapula Candles, Julians Restaurant, Bredasdorp Square and the Lifestyle Centre is an absolute must. Jack's Place is only 45 km from De Hoop Nature Reserve and the beautiful coastal town of Arniston is also nearby.
