Delicious Karoo tranquility. I visited Jagersberg alone for 2 nights. Just wanted the peace and quiet. However, the host, Donald, is very willing to take people with him on all farm activities. I also bought a delicious Karoo lamb there and the braai facilities are plentiful.

Nice atmosphere, cosy and very pretty. No electricity but improves the peace and quiet, very hospitable and pretty.

Fantastic evening of getting quiet and enjoying the simplicity. We were very well welcomed and great effort was made to make us as comfortable as possible. The cottage is old and simple, but it's idyllic and the whole family enjoyed enjoying the evening around the lamp oil light with the fireplace burning. The farm is open for hiking and many other activities are available if more time is available.

Primitive luxury. Me and my 2 Scotties had an amazing stay. Even though there is no electricity, the house is very comfortable and fully equipped and very tidy. We were charmed by stone heads and quiver trees and could spend every evening in the Bushmanland quietly on the stoep under the clear starry sky. I definitely recommend Jagersberg!

Beautiful house on the farm. We needed overnight accommodation on the way back from Clanwilliam to Johannesburg. So Carnarvon was a good decision, but we didn't realize that the accommodation was about an hour's drive from Carnarvon, our route was then extended by 2 hours. The accommodation itself is good. Very neat and has everything you need. Unfortunately we arrived there in the dark and then left again. It looks like a very nice farm and if you can find peace there.

Very nice and peaceful. The accommodation is clean and tidy. With the lovely farm atmosphere, I just wanted to go back to my childhood.
