Nice, comfortable and very relaxed. Jakalsroep is very good value for money and was just what we needed! We stayed in Unit 2 - the cottage was very neat and clean and had a well equipped kitchen (for our needs) with a nice big fridge and freezer! The braai on the stoep was a hit and we spent most of the time at the house there and at sunset we sat and watched the wildlife that came to drink. Nice close to Dinokeng - the dirt road was in good condition and we went in every day and spent a lot of time in the reserve. Forwarded a nice video that pretty much answered all my questions up front and made it clear how everything looks. The only negative was the foot end of the double bed made it difficult to sleep for me (but only because I'm over 2m tall).

Relaxing. Had a lovely stay. It's super affordable and neat. My daughter's 14, 11, and 10 all enjoyed their stay. All 3 took a liking to the animals, especially the horses, and had something to look forward to. We didn't need to leave the accommodation for entertainment elsewhere, which was a plus for me.
