Jasmyn en Protea Kothuise is private cottages set in a tranquil, tree-lined neighbourhood in the town of George, bordering on a green belt where guests will see guinea fowl, pheasant and white-browed coucal and with a view of the Outeniqua Mountains.
Jasmyn cottage is a 1-bedroom cottage and has an en-suite bedroom with a separate, spacious living room and kitchen. The cottage is fully equipped for self-catering and has a separate entrance and sleeps 3 to 4 guests. The bedroom has a double bed and there is a comfortable sleeper couch for kids in the living room.
Die spacious living room has a fully equipped kitchenette with a breakfast counter, large fridge and freezer, microwave, oven, coffee filter, and toaster. There is also a 49-inch Smart TV with full DStv and a fireplace with dry wood for winter nights, this is red wine country after all!
Protea Cottage has a separate entrance and sleeping area for 1 to 2 guests. The en-suite bedroom is furnished with a double bed, a spacious powder area, and a smart TV with DStv. The kitchenette is equipped with a fridge-freezer, microwave, toaster, and a kettle. There is also a breakfast area. The outdoor patio is perfect for a braai.
Secure parking, WiFi and braai facilities are available.
The cottages are also ideally located for those visiting George's hospitals: George Mediclinic, Geneva Clinic, and George Hospital are all less than 2 km away.
The surrounding area offers forests, rivers, mountains, and beaches. waterfalls and river pools and lovely mountain biking and hiking routes. The Garden Route National Park is only 20 km away. The owners are nature and travel enthusiasts and can inform guests about hidden jewels in the area, including Wilderness, Knysna, Die Eiland, Mossel Bay, Oudtshoorn, and Calitzdorp! Full- and half day trips can be arranged. Safe parking, free WiFi, and braai facilities are also available.
