A comfortable old lady. Loved the eclectic mix of old and modern. The outside area was lovely. Pool and braai area super. Bedrooms large and en-suites a plus. Nadja made us feel very welcome.

Lovely stay! We stayed over a weekend to enjoy Montagu and the surrounds - Easy check-in and a lovely house. We had all the amenities we were looking for - including WiFi. The kids enjoyed the pool although it was June and the braai area is great for a "kuier".

Old School Charm. A traditional old school Montagu house, complete with creaking wooden floors. Great for a large group, but what's really nice is the backyard sun trap, complete with braai-lapa and beach pool! Heaven in summer.

A beautiful home with everything you need to relax. Our stay at John Montagu was perfect right from the point of arrival. Our host, Nadja, was super accommodating and friendly and made us feel right at home immediately. The house was in immaculate condition and we had absolutely no issues during our stay to make it unpleasant. We experienced one two hour load shedding session, which was not difficult at all as Nadja surprised us by dropping two lanterns for us. Although we could not make use of the pool due to the weather, we will certainly be back to enjoy it in the near future. A perfect 10 star rating would not be enough as all our expectations were pleasantly exceeded. We will also happily refer the house to all our friends and family.
