Kaapsehoop Horse Trails - Stable House is set on a picturesque farm nestled atop the Drakensberg escarpment, on the outskirts of Kaapsehoop. It offers a comfortable retreat for nature enthusiasts and is ideally suited for a family or group of friends seeking a peaceful weekend getaway.
The house can accommodate 4 guests in 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The main bedroom contains a double bed while the second bedroom has 2 single beds. The bathroom is shared between the guests and is fitted with a shower.
The kitchen is well equipped with amenities that include a fridge-freezer, stove, oven, and coffee- and tea-making facilities. There is a patio as well as a braai area outside for guests to relax and enjoy the natural setting. Secure parking is available on-site.
This, the original stable complex from the early forestry years, was where the foresters kept their horses. Stable House still has the alluring atmosphere of a stable. Horseback riding along guided trails is offered on the farm while activities in the area include hiking and historical tours.
