Karoo Secret offers a tranquil self-catering farm stay in a beautifully restored manager’s homestead set on a fourth generation working sheep farm in the heart of the Great Karoo. The farm is located on the legendary “plains of the Camdeboo” in the Aberdeen district; land of big skies, remarkable sunsets and a place where life is lived to the timeless rhythm of the Karoo.
Karoo Secret can accommodate up to 9 guests and comprises 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, full kitchen facilities, an inviting lounge and dining area, and a spacious front patio. The patio features a built-in bar and outdoor dining furniture.
The first bedroom contains a double bed ensuite. The second and third bedrooms each contain 2 single beds, each with an ensuite. The fourth bedroom contains 3 single beds and a shared bathroom. The bathrooms each contain a shower, toilet and washbasin. Fans, electric blankets, and a hairdryer are provided.
The kitchen is well-equipped for self-catering with a stovetop, oven, kettle, ample cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils. The dining room boasts a festive 8-seater dining table and chairs.
