Khumbula Lodge offers self-catering accommodation, and is situated at the foot of the Hlogoma Peak- known as the place of echoes, in the foothills of the Southern Drakensberg in Underberg.
This authentic timber-styled lodge can accommodate 6 guests, and comprises a main house with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
In the main house, the main and second bedrooms each have a queen-size bed, and the third bedroom is furnished with 2 single beds. The main bedroom features an en-suite bathroom fitted with a spa bath, and the second and third bedrooms share the second bathroom fitted with a shower.
The open-plan well-equipped kitchen in the main house contains a fridge, a microwave, an oven with a stove, and other appliances to use. The adjacent living area boasts a built-in bar area for entertaining, sofas to relax on, and a dining table with seating. The living area leads out to the deck, which offers stunning picturesque views of the valley, and stairs lead down to the firepit and braai area.
Khumbula Lodge is conveniently located between Underberg and the neighbouring town of Himeville. The lodge boasts magnificent panoramic views of mountains, farmlands, dams and a bird sanctuary and is in close proximity to all activities in the area.
