Description
Kingfisher Lakeside Retreat is located in Trafalgar, a seaside resort town that forms part of Southbroom. Southbroom boasts a 4 km, Indian Ocean beach which has been kept pristine and as untouched as possible. The accommodation is set on a private, beachfront estate with direct access to a freshwater lake. The setting is tranquil and there is an abundance of fauna and flora for nature lovers to enjoy.
Accommodation is available in, 4 fully equipped, luxury glamping tents which are able to accommodate 2 adults and 2 children, as well as a cottage that can accommodate 4 adults at a time.
Kingfisher Tent is tastefully furnished with a queen-size bed and the option of adding 2 single beds, available on request. It also has an en-suite bathroom with an open-air shower. Weaver Tent is tastefully furnished with a queen-size bed and 2 single beds, as well as an en-suite bathroom with a double, open-air shower. Tea- and coffee-making facilities are supplied in the tents.
There are also self-catering facilities in a communal area, with a fully equipped kitchen, between the 2 tents.
The Fisheagle Cottage comprises 2 bedrooms and can accommodate up to 4 guests at a time. The main bedroom has a queen-size bed and the second bedroom has 2 single beds. Each room has an en-suite bathroom with a shower, bath, toilet and basin. Linen and towels are provided, and there is a fan in each room.
The kitchen is equipped with a stove, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, coffee- and tea-making facilities, crockery and cutlery.
The lounge has comfortable seating and walks out onto a patio with braai facilities, and access to the communal swimming pool, firepit and outdoor, beach shower.
There is an abundance of activities for the whole family along with fantastic restaurants and attractions. Guests have access to canoes which can be used on the lake as well as paddle skis for the ocean.
