King’s Lodge Hotel is a country hotel situated in the heart of the quaint mountain village of Hogsback, and offers cosy and comfortable accommodation set in peaceful surroundings.
King’s Lodge Hotel is the ideal base from which to explore all Hogsback has to offer. Indulge in scenic mountain walks, indigenous forests, discover many beautiful streams and cascading waterfalls, explore the galleries and craft shops, or visit the area’s well-known gardens with their displays of Rhododendrons and Azaleas. You may even catch a glimpse of an endangered Cape parrot or a Samango monkey.
Enjoy beautiful spring flowers throughout the village, warm sunshine in summer, spectacular colours during autumn and the snow scenes in winter. The area offers crisp mountain air, and year-round opportunities for the adventure traveller with great hiking and mountain biking trails, and climbing routes.
There is a cosy bar with a fireplace, TV lounge and an outside braai area. Guests are welcome to relax in the family lounge and library equipped with selected DStv channels. Other facilities include a swimming pool, a bowling green amid the oak trees, wedding facilities in the traditional dining room or in the lovely gardens, conference facilities and a laundry service.
