Klein Karoo Game Lodge is situated on a nature reserve outside the town of Oudtshoorn in the heart of the Klein Karoo. Accommodation at Klein Karoo Game Lodge is provided in 4 chalets.
Chalet 1 comprises 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a kitchen. The main bedroom contains 1 queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a bath, basin, and toilet. The second and third bedrooms each have a single bed and share a bathroom fitted with a shower, basin, and toilet. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, microwave, gas stove, kettle, crockery, and cutlery. Additional facilities include a braai area, gas geyser, and secure parking on the premises. The unit operates on solar power and electricity.
Chalet 2 and 3 comprise each a bedroom with a double bed and an open-plan bathroom with a shower, basin, and toilet. There is also an open-plan lounge and kitchenette with a microwave, fridge, stove, crockery, and cutlery. Additional facilities include a braai area, gas geyser, and secure parking on the premises. The units operate on solar power and electricity.
The fourth chalet comprises a bedroom with a double bed and an open-plan bathroom with a shower, basin, and toilet. There is also an open-plan lounge and kitchen with a microwave, fridge, stove, crockery and cutlery. Additional facilities include a braai area, gas geyser, and secure parking. The unit makes use of solar power and electricity.
There are 6 Lux Rooms with a thatch roof and furnished with a king-sized bed which can be converted to 2 single beds upon request. The bathroom is fitted with a toilet, washbasin and a shower. Other in-room facilities include tea-and-coffee-making facilities.
All units come with a patio with mountain views, a kitchen with a fridge-freezer, microwave, gas stove and kettle, crockery and cutlery, and a private bathroom. There are braai facilities available at the property.
Guests can go hiking and cycling on the farm and enjoy game viewing at their leisure. There is a restaurant on the farm that has free Wi-Fi and a menu that changes seasonally.
The farm uses solar power and therefore does not experience power outages.
Nearby attractions include Meerkat Adventures, Ostrich Farms, the Cango Caves, the Swartberg Pass, and Ziplining.
Guests can enjoy activities such as game drives, cycling, mountain biking, swimming, hiking, golf and experience the Klein Karoo Wines Farms in the area.
There is enough space to safely store a boat at the accommodation if required.
