Situated 7km off the R62, Klein Karoo Koppie Cottage is a self-catering farm cottage located in Buffelsdrift, Ladismith. The cottage is "off-grid" with a limited solar system to supply a small fridge/freezer unit. A cellphone or hearing aids can also be charged using this system - NO other electrical devices, please.
This is a great option for a tranquil getaway with family and friends as this tranquil cottage is surrounded by a peaceful ambience. Walking around on the farm will expose you to the true beauty of the Klein Karoo veld.
This property can comfortably accommodate 8 guests at a time and consists of a main house and a flatlet. The main house comprises 3 bedrooms which are furnished with a king-size bed, queen-size bed and a double bed, respectively. There is one bathroom in the main house which has a bath in, and an outside shower with hot and cold water. The flatlet contains a king-size bed and includes a washbasin.
The living area in the house features a kitchen equipped with an Aga stove, a 2-plate gas stove, a gas fridge-freezer, cutlery and crockery as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. Leading from the kitchen is a cosy lounge with comfy seating and a fireplace. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available at the main complex - inquire at the main complex.
Outside, there is a lovely patio with an outdoor dining table, comfortable seating and braai facilities which is a great spot for a sundowner while overlooking the surrounding farm. This patio leads down to a spacious garden which features a boma where guests can gather around at night.
