Kleinzee Oceanfront Guesthouse is a seafront guest house perched on the cliffs of De Kelders, one of the best land-based whale-watching destinations in the world, and only 1 km from Walker Bay Nature Reserve.
Accommodation is offered in a variety of guest suites, as well as an apartment. All en-suite units are sea-facing and present concertina doors opening towards the ocean. Other facilities include a flat-screen TV with DStv, Netflix and Showmax, free fiber Wi-Fi, coffee plungers, underfloor heating or air-conditioning and a bar fridge.
Additionally, the apartment is fully equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, toaster, fridge-freezer, and tea- and coffee-making facilities, as well as a fireplace and a dining area.
The units can be booked together for exclusive use of the whole house.
A full breakfast is served on the upper level overlooking the ocean, on the sea-facing balcony or in front of the fireplace. The guesthouse offers homemade pecan nut muesli, Kleinrivier cheeses, fresh croissants and bacon and eggs. Freshly baked scones and carrot cake can also be purchased.
The guesthouse is a mere 8.2 km from Kleinbaai Harbour, where shark cage diving vessels depart. Marine safari's to view whales and other sea life in Walker Bay depart from Gansbaai Harbour which is 5 km away. These activities can be arranged for guests on request.
Kleinzee Oceanfront Guesthouse is also within walking distance from a coffee shop and local restaurants. Peak whale season is from August to mid-December.
