Hidden Gem! Great find! Perfect unique location. Very neat and tidy, a lovely place on the farm. Even had owls outside in the tree. Great stay!

Overall enjoyable with a few small irritations. Lovely, big old farmhouse with beautiful surroundings but the house has a number of smaller maintenance issues that need attention (door and window latches not working / all 4 showers have terrible water pressure and the shower heads need to be replaced as the water comes out in a solid stream / the bed in the 4th bedroom is very uncomfortable / the living area also desperately needs some comfortable seating and there is no outside bin). We really enjoyed the company of the 4 farm dogs who quickly made themselves at home with us.

Quiet "recharge". We had a great time. Danie and Maricke give clear directions and the self check-in was very comfortable. The unit has everything you might need for self-catering and Maricke was always available for enquiries, e.g. about load shedding times. My husband also enjoyed fishing at the river. Oh, and another 5 stars for the cute dogs on site, friendly and extremely well mannered. Note that the mattress on the bed is very firm, it didn't really bother us, but if we were to stay longer I might start to miss my own bed.
