Knysna Houseboat Evening Star, situated at Thesen Islands in Knysna, provides a fully equipped, self-drive houseboat for a unique holiday experience. Guests can enjoy a leisurely cruise along Knysna's picturesque tidal estuary without needing any prior experience or a skipper's license. All that's required is an adventurous spirit and a passion for the outdoors to navigate their own holiday adventure.
Inside the houseboat, there is a fore-cabin with a double bed, storage space, and a bench seat that doubles as a bed for a child. The cosy bathroom features a hot shower, a chemical toilet, and a washbasin. A comfortable inside dining area converts into a double bed.
The kitchen is equipped with a stove, oven, electric fridge, sink, and all necessary utensils, crockery, and cutlery. Amenities include all necessary bedding, a CD player, a captain's handbook, and safety equipment such as life jackets, a first-aid kit, and a fire extinguisher.
On the outside, there is an open lounge deck with a Bimini, a braai facility, and a rooftop sundeck with plenty of space for all passengers to sunbathe and enjoy the panoramic views.
