Value for money. Peaceful overnight accommodation if you like the countryside. Nice with small children, because they could play outside while we barbecued. I would also recommend if you want to get away for a weekend. The electric blanket was a bonus for the cold in the Karoo.

Absolutely wonderful. Upon our arrival there was freshly baked bread, wood packed in the braai and boma, a barn owl that greeted us at the back door and 8 mountain turtles in the alfalfa field waiting for us. Genuine warmth can be detected throughout the old farmstead. Congratulations on your beautiful and very homely self-catering unit.

Quiet and beautiful surroundings! It's a really beautiful place with its farmhouse feel, the sheepfolds and the turtle grazing all around the house. The silence with the fire burning under the starry sky, and the delicious treat with freshly baked bread! It was heavenly!

Exactly what I wanted. A Karoo farm, farmhouse, tranquility far away from everything. The owners are wonderful people. The house is perfect. We cooled down nicely in the farm swimming pool. Slept well without feeling unsafe at all. Will definitely stay there again in the future.

Quiet and peaceful! Lovely quiet get away place from the busy life, my husband and I really enjoyed it. The baked bun that the hostess left was the best!

Beautiful farm environment and farmer hospitality. The hostess spoiled us with home-baked biscuits and bread, more than enough wood for the indoor fireplace and nice and warm beds.
