The unit was sufficient for our stay but was clearly more suitable for a fishing trip. There aren't any signposts or directions to guide one to the cottage. It was not made clear that it is located within another complex. The entry to the complex is not signposted, we were only given a pin and instructions when we were stuck towing a trailer on the road to a complex that is closed off with a chain. The cottage is very comfortable and well located. The cottage was everything we expected it to be. Nice close to beach and pool. Very convenient. Not luxurious, but perfectly adequate for our needs. The complex itself can only get noisy on a weekend.

It was great except dusty as it was not cleaned. The toilet paper and DStv are not provided by the owner. It was a real self catering experience. The resort is wonderful but does not seem to integrate its hosts who sell a variety of beadwork as well as fresh out of the ocean oysters just outside its gates. There are too many stray dogs. There are no ATMs for at least a 30 minute drive. The resort should also get into a payment arrangement with the guides who loiter beyond the gates begging for scraps. Extremely disappointing. Unit had not been cleaned of previous guests. Kitchen was full of dishes, fridge full of food, porch full of stumps and dust, beds unmade. No one spoke to us throughout the day about what time we would arrive and when we got there around 6pm after 12 hours on the road we had to wait at least an hour for a key. The unit has a private owner, Nicky and she lives in Natal and not nearby or on site. A lady came to open after a long wait and said the premises were not clean because she was at a funeral.
