Description
La Boca is a beautiful, private self-catering home situated in the secure gated estate of La Riviere, on the banks of the Breede River estuary in Witsand. The property reaches the water's edge, and the stunning swimming beach below the house is accessed by your own private staircase which leads directly off the front deck.
The house can accommodate up to 8 guests (a maximum of 6 adults) and offers 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Every single room in the home offers water views either out to sea, or across the Breede River estuary.
The first bedroom contains a king-size bed and has doors opening to its own private sun deck with direct access to the swimming pool. This room has a spectacular en-suite bathroom with a spa bath and shower, but the views from the picture windows here steal the show. The second bedroom contains a queen-size bed and a bunk bed. This room overlooks the pool and river and has a full bathroom with a bath and a shower just a few steps away. The third bedroom has a shower/toilet/basin en-suite and a queen-sized bed, it's on its own level and also offers breathtaking views. This room has double doors opening to a small lush lawn and a swimming pool. There is an outside laundry with a washing machine and dryer.
The kitchen is well-equipped with an eye-level oven, gas hob, dishwasher, fridge-freezer and all the general appliances you need to have a perfect holiday.
The relaxed living room with a feature fireplace is open-plan to the dining room with the kitchen is recessed just to the back. The living room contains a flat-screen TV with DSTV and unlimited Wi-Fi. A wooden deck leads off the open-plan living and dining area, which also opens up on the opposite side of the room to a courtyard.
The home has parking for 2 cars outside (unfortunately no garage access) and there is also a paved outside boat parking and a fish cleaning station. There is a built-in braai on the west side and a Weber braai in the courtyard.
Use of a 3-seater kayak (2 adults and 1 small child) is available on prior arrangement. Take the kayak across to the sand bank, which is exposed at low tide, and go pansy shell hunting.
All ages are welcome, however, please note that the property is not particularly toddler-friendly as it has quite a number of stairs and an uncovered swimming pool.
