Description
Lakeside self-catering suites is managed by the owners and offers warm and friendly hospitality.
We are conveniently situated across the main road (N2) from the lagoon with magnificent views, and is an easy ten minute walk from town centre, restaurants, ferries and the Knysna Quays Waterfront. If you are a light sleeper, the road noise might be a problem.
Our suites are equipped with quality beds and bedding, kitchenettes and on-suite bathrooms. We have undercover parking and a communal BBQ area.
Lakeside is an ideal base for a visit to Knysna for business, sport or pleasure. Our comfortable suites are either lagoon-facing or behind the front main building with partial views of the lagoon.
Your hosts have extensive first-hand knowledge of the area to help you plan your exploration of the area. Beautiful beaches, indigenous forests, spectacular Pezula and Simola golf courses, wonderful day walks and close encounters with most of Africa's Big Five all lie within a 30 minute drive.
The Wilderness, Nature's Valley, the Tsitsikamma National Park and Oudtshoorn with the Cango Caves are an easy day trip to enjoy.
