Cullinan Lakeview Cottage is a mere half an hour’s drive from Pretoria and about an hour from Johannesburg. The cottages nestles quietly in one of the most popular areas of Cullinan, only minutes away from the infamous Petra Mine. It has spectacular views overlooking the Cullinan Lake and enjoys the distinction of being one of the safest, oldest and most beautiful towns in Gauteng.
Cottage 1 comprises 3 rooms of which 2 are en-suite and 1 has a separate bathroom. Guests have access to communal facilities such as a comfy lounge and dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen. The cottage can be booked per room or as a whole. The cottage has its own tranquil patio, that has a closed braai area for the winter. It also boasts a beautiful shady garden with beautiful trees and rustic art. There is also an outside braai and seating area for summer that overlooks the lake.
Cottage 2 is a larger cottage that can accommodate up to 10 guests. The cottage comprises 4 bedrooms of which 2 bedrooms have a double bed, a third bedroom with 4 single beds and a fourth bedroom with 2 single beds. Two of the bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms while the other rooms make use of 2 separate bathrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering purposes. Guests have access to a large, enclosed patio with braai facilities that overlook the lake and a garden with abundant birdlife.
The cottages are perfectly positioned to allow you to get the most from your stay. Built in the late 1930’s, these rustic cottages retain much of the architectural beauty synonymous with the area. The comfort of the cottages will appeal to all guests, from romantic honeymoon couples to busy corporates alike.
