Rooi-Els Fijnbos units are located in quaint town, Rooi-Els. Rooi-Els is famous for its magnificent views over False Bay and is situated beside the Kogelberg Biosphere Reserve, in the Overberg District in the Western Cape. The town roads are narrow, un-tarred and without street lights. This is the ideal destination for guests seeking a relaxing getaway.
The property offers 3 separate units, the 4-sleeper Lavenda Suite or La Montagne and Fijnbos Unit, of which both can accommodate 2 guests each. A small path will lead guests to the wooden stairs on the first floor where the deck and braai facility is available for guests.
The Lavenda Suite comprises 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom, accommodating 4 guests. The bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower over the bath. Additionally, there is a double sleeper couch in the living area. The open-plan living area features a lounge furnished with comfortable couches and a TV, and the kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, washing machine, stove, oven, and microwave. The unit also has solar power and is not affected by load-shedding.
La Montagne is furnished with a king-size bed which can be converted into 2 single beds upon request, and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower and toilet. It also has a sleeper couch for 2 small children should this be requested. La Montagne has a kitchenette equipped with a bar fridge, microwave and tea- and coffee-making facilities.
The Fijnbos, air-conditioned unit can accommodate 2 guests and is furnished with a queen-size bed. The en-suite bathroom is fitted with a shower, toilet and washbasin. Other in-room amenities include tea- and coffee-making facilities, a bar fridge and a microwave.
The units are all equipped with smart TV’s and is solar powered. Units are equipped with fans that can operate during loadshedding. Guests can enjoy some time relaxing on the patio with beautiful mountain views. Secure open parking, free Wi-Fi, and braai facilities are available.
Klein-Hangklipmountain dominates the village and is home to a pair of Verreaux's Eagles. Other animals that may be noted are Chacma baboons, Rock hyrax, small antelope, African clawless otters and occasionally Caracal and Leopard.
