Lovely accommodation but location and amenities for dining very poor and Bergville appeared scruffy. We had stayed in the central Drakensberg area which was a stunning location with a few amenities and attractions. We arrived in Bergville to discover that all the attractions being promoted were back in the area where we had stayed for 5 nights. A disappointment. The accommodation itself was very nice but we found the open plan en suite bathroom somewhat odd, no privacy at all. The B&B was very clean and pleasant with the host a very lovely lady. We had booked for two nights but only stayed for one because there was nowhere to go for an evening meal. As well as loadshedding the previous evening the water was off on the Tuesday morning.
