Description
Leeupoort Plaashuis is a spacious self-catering house located in the Leeupoort Vakansiedorp, ideal for guests looking for a bush escape. This bushveld gem is set between the Waterberg mountains where abundant wildlife can be enjoyed, along with lovely mountain views.
The house can accommodate up to 9 guests and comprises 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and an open-plan kitchen and living area. The main bedroom contains a single and double bed and a hand basin. The second bedroom contains a double. The third bedroom contains 2 single beds, while the fourth bedroom is upstairs and contains a double bed. Each bedroom has both air-conditioning and a fan. The first bathroom is in the house and is fitted with a bath, a toilet, and a washbasin. The second bathroom is outside on the verandah and is fitted with a shower, a toilet, and a washbasin. Linen and bedding are provided, but guests required to bring their own bath and swimming towels.
The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and contains an early 60's 6-plate Fuchs stove with 2 ovens, fridge, chest freezer, microwave, and cutlery and crockery. There is also a dishwasher as well as a washing machine. The living area has a TV with selected DStv channels.
The large verandah outside has a built-in braai area and there is a firepit for a bushveld braai. A splash pool is also available. Visitors have free access to the 823 ha nature reserve from 07:00 to 18:00, where you can walk, ride your bike or drive your car. A restaurant, shop liquor store and swimming pools are available in the village.
