Description
Leeurivier Veldhuis is a rustic self-catering farmhouse situated 50 km south of Beaufort West. The house can comfortably accommodate a group of 9 people, and guests can enjoy the wide-open Karoo veld.
This solar and gas-powered property consists of 3 bedrooms and ample ablution facilities. The main and third bedrooms are each furnished with 1 single bed and 1 queen-size bed, and the second is furnished with 3 single beds. There is a bathroom fitted with a shower and bath and three separate toilets. The open-plan kitchen contains a double-door fridge, a gas stove with an oven, ample cooking utensils, and pots.
The living area includes a bar, a large dining table and chairs and a fireplace, making it a cosy alternative in winter. The outside features a grassed area with a braai and a covered area with an additional built-in braai.
The Veldhuis is situated between 2 dry riverbeds within a large game camp, boasting an impressive variety of game species, including giraffe, zebra, kudu, eland, sable, gemsbok, blue wildebeest, red hartebeest, blesbok, springbuck, duiker, steenbok, ostrich, and the smaller veld inhabitants like the hare and mongoose.
