Beautiful peaceful surroundings with goats running through the garden. Nice braai area in boma and view was beautiful from Selati house. Really a lovely place to break a weekend away from the city. Nick and Marilize were friendly and responsive to our enquiry. Safe and peaceful environment.

Wonderful my son enjoyed swimming. The place is very nice just needs maintenance in terms of bedding and cleaning. The gravel road from town to lodge is depressing.

Pathetic, what a waste if a weekend. The house was not clean, yes it was tidy but definitely not clean! It's supposed to be self-catering, but there was not enough glasses and the pans were all scratched. There were people blaring their music and shouting on top of their music from 10 am till 4 the next morning, so you could not sleep. This is supposed to be a bush lodge! This messed up our entire weekend. I will never stay there again!

Everything at Lodge Lucanus is of top class. My family and I enjoyed every second of our stay. This was the best place i have ever visited with my family. George, the manager, and the co-workers were simply the best and very friendly to us. George were always very close to us and we enjoy walking around the farm, swimming and playing golf.
