Regarding the electricity issue, it was indeed more widespread than just the Hermanus area, and unfortunately, it was beyond our control. This was an isolated incident due to Eskom, though we have installed solar panels for the geyser to help mitigate such challenges.
As for the iron, it's true that most holiday properties don't typically provide one, and we've mentioned on our website that it is unavailable.
In terms of the warm water, the system usually provides an ample supply. However, due to the way the water reticulation is installed, using cold water may affect the shower temperature, and we inform guests of this as a safety precaution. The water pressure and supply have since been resolved.
We'll certainly look into adding some extra blankets for comfort.
We've deliberately chosen not to install TVs, as highlighted on our website. The idea is to let our guests fully appreciate the tranquility and beauty of the lagoon and the surrounding milkwoods. However, if anyone wants to watch something, our WIFI allows easy access to streaming services.
