Brilliant service. What a gorgeous guesthouse in a gorgeous town. First time for me in Carnarvon, and I can most certainly recommend the guesthouse as your first choice. The dining experience at the restaurant was lovely. Great service, great food, and generous portions. I walked to the restaurant from the guesthouse but was given a lift back by the owner/manager of the guesthouse because he didn't want me to walk back in the dark. Such a gentleman. Pleasant surprise in the Karoo. Interesting historical place. Very clean, tidy, comfortable and well equipped. The small container of milk and biscuit with the coffee is a plus.
