Description
Loskop Valley Lodge and Restaurant is situated in the Loskop Valley, 5.6 km from the farming town of Groblersdal and 41 km from Loskop Dam. The lodge offers comfortable accommodation amid subtropical gardens and palm trees, and meals can be enjoyed at the à la carte restaurant, with a special Sunday afternoon buffet. The lodge also offers facilities for conferences, functions and weddings.
The lodge offers 44 cosy guest rooms, each with an en-suite bathroom. Each room is equipped with a TV and a telephone. There are a couple of larger rooms which can accommodate families. Guests have access to safe parking on the premises, with security guards on duty from 6pm to 6am. The swimming pool is located between the rooms for easy access.
After a busy day guests can relax in the garden, enjoy a refreshing swim in the pool, or have something to drink at the good old-fashioned, well-stocked pub, that also provides pub fare. There are pool tables available, as well as a big-screen TV for sporting events. Braai facilities are also available and braai packs can be provided on request. Braai packs must be requested with at least 1 day’s notice.
The conference facilities can accommodate between 12 and 200 delegates. The facilities include an overhead projector, a white board, a flip chart and a TV. For functions such as year-end functions and weddings, the lodge can accommodate 200 guests. Tables and chairs, table cloths and overlays are provided, as well as catering and music.
The lodge is 102 km from Bronkhorstspruit, 91.5 from Middelburg and 30.2 km from Marble Hall. The lodge is easily accessible from the tar road and the roads in the vicinity; both tar and gravel roads are well kept.
