Nestled along the southern bank of the White Umfolozi River, Madwaleni River Lodge - Babanango Game Reserve offers an exclusive retreat with its luxurious safari tents. The lodge takes its name from the isiZulu phrase meaning The place of the rock, paying homage to the picturesque granoliths mountains found in the reserve.

The lodge offers accommodation in 12 luxury tents, accommodating a total of 24 guests. Each tent is renowned for its unique design offering unrivalled comfort and style. The tents are each furnished with a king-size bed and have en-suite bathrooms fitted with a bath, shower, his and her basin, and toilet. Crisp linen and towels are provided.

Each tent has a spacious deck with a heated plunge pool, and outdoor and indoor seating boasting spectacular views of nature.

The communal areas include a restaurant, lounge, and captivating library. Guests are spoiled with various activities on site which also include game drives game viewing, and guided walks.
