Description
Makhato Lodge 68 is a charming self-catering home located in the Sondela Nature Reserve near Bela-Bela. Situated in the Waterberg region, this private game reserve is just 150 km from Johannesburg, offering the tranquillity of the bushveld, encounters with zebra, kudu, impala, and giraffe, as well as opportunities for birdwatching.
This property can accommodate up to 8 guests at a time and comprises 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, and an outdoor shower. The first, second, and third bedrooms each have a queen size bed and feature en suite bathrooms, 2 fitted with a shower, while the other has both a bath and a shower. The fourth bedroom contains 2 single beds and makes use of a separate bathroom fitted with a bath and a shower. Linen and bath towels are provided.
The home features a well-equipped kitchen that includes a stove, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, cutlery and crockery, and a fridge freezer, as well as a breakfast bar with stools. The lounge and dining area offers comfortable seating for guests to dine and relax and also boasts a fireplace. For entertainment, a TV with DStv channels is available.
The living area opens onto a patio with outdoor seating and a built-in braai, offering a great view of the bushveld. Additionally, a boma area under the bushveld trees with a firepit, chairs and cushions, and a second built-in braai with a work area can be enjoyed. Guests are afforded secure onsite parking.
