Very calm. Very nice. Beautiful old farmhouse with nice big yard for children to play. The tranquility is fantastic. There was even a TV and DStv to be able to watch the rugby. Ice machine was always full. The road and trucks to get there are the only negative point, but even that wouldn't stop me from going again.

Awesome Road there is rough, but the place is awesome.

Very nice and peaceful. The stay was nice. The house is well equipped. It looks like there is a new oven, I haven't been able to figure out how the settings work exactly. The braai area could do with more lighting. Domestic help is definitely a bonus.

Very modern and neat. We had a kickboxing tournament in Lydenburg. Location of accommodation is only 15 min away. All that is bad is that the R36 road is horrible because they are currently redoing the road. I really hope the road doesn't affect Manzi Mhlope badly because it really is a beautiful place. Redone like new, lots of space and tidy. We will definitely stay there again if we are in the area again.

Peaceful and relaxing. It was a wonderful rest weekend. The old farmhouse with the thick walls stays cool despite the heat outside. The kitchen is modern and the rest of the house has an exquisite finish with nice furniture and paintings. The road from Lydenburg is very bad with many potholes and the entrance to the farm is steep as the big trucks have trampled the soil along the side of the tar. This is the only negative of the entire weekend.

Lovely farmhouse and atmosphere! Will definitely recommend. For the price you won't find better. Everything was neat, beautiful and clean. The only negative point is the road out to the farm. But would risk it again and stay there!

Absolutely beautiful surroundings, peaceful and a friendly donkey - I love animals. This was well worth the price. The place is beautiful inside and out. There were monkeys, the garden was beautiful, the bedding was spotless, everything about Manzi Mhlope was worth the trip. We will definitely visit there again!

Value for money, well equipped, off a nightmare road. Manzi Mhlope is excellent value for money for a larger group. All the beds are single which suited us well and the house is well equipped. There is also a delicious braai area. Sara is an angel and she comes to clean several times a day. There is good cell phone signal and data outside the house and in the dining room, but the thick walls impede reception elsewhere in the house. On the first day there the power was off between 12 and 6 pm. According to Sara, this happens daily, but we were not there to experience it. However, I must warn future visitors about the poor condition of the R36 along which the house is located. It is probably the worst road I have ever driven on, full of trucks and definitely not to be ventured after dark. The dirt road from Dullstroom's side is much better and quite passable.
