Marula Cottage is a thatched-roof farmhouse situated just 4 km outside of Thabazimbi. It is set on the side of a mountain, overlooking Marakele National Park and the surrounding area, where guests will have the peace and tranquillity of the bushveld. Marula Cottage is ideal for the businessperson as well as visitors to the local parks and attractions.
This small, family-run guest lodge offers 3 en-suite guest rooms. Each room includes a bar fridge, tea- and coffee-making facilities, air-conditioning, and a patio or deck with views of the mountains and the bird-filled garden. Guests have access to braai facilities and a communal swimming pool.
Full breakfasts are included, and lunches and dinners are available on request at an additional fee. Only fresh produce is used.
Guests can take a walk on the farm and enjoy the stunning views. As you climb, you may encounter free roaming game, including kudu, bushbuck, klipspringer, and mountain reedbuck, to name a few.
