Description
Masescha Country Estate is set on 12 hectares at the heart of the Garden Route just minutes from Plettenberg Bay and Knysna. The name Masescha meaning hidden or masked is quite appropriate as the estate is nestled in a valley free of road noise where often the only accompaniment is the song of the birds and a gently whispering breeze.
The property has a backup power supply, and therefore guests won't be affected by load shedding. Pets may be accommodated by prior arrangement, additional charges will apply.
Close to the major attractions of Adventureland Water Park, Ziplines, Robberg Nature Reserve and Abseiling, Knysna Elephant Park, Raptor Rescue, The Wolf Sanctuary, and Plett's wonderful beaches, to mention a few.
The country estate offers guests the privacy of their own fully equipped house, cosy cottage, or garden room to suit a range of budgets, all being well separated throughout the garden and each having their own individual characters, patios and brick-built braai facilities, nestled in established open gardens.
Heaters, hot water bottles, blankets, and fans are available seasonally as required. All linen, showering towels, and toiletries are provided throughout together with a welcome selection of tea and coffee on arrival. Basic daily cleaning service is offered with the exception of Sundays and Public Holidays.
Enjoy the large swimming pool or a meander through the garden around the picturesque water dams and down to the river. Free Wi-Fi internet access is available in all units and rooms. A laundry facility is also available, and charges apply.
Conveniently accessed just a 3-minute drive from the N2 turn-off at the Saturday Market, the estate is located at Harkerville only a 10-minute drive from Plettenberg Bay and 15 minutes drive from Knysna.
