Description
Matla Mamba Safaris Lodge is a stunning property nestled on the banks of the Mamba River and is located on a 7000-ha game farm in the Waterberg region of Limpopo. The property is unfenced, which allows wildlife to roam freely around and even graze within the camp's confines.
The lodge comprises 7 free-standing chalets which serve as bedrooms. Two of the chalets contain 2 single beds as well as a single bed for a child only, and both have an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath and shower. There are 4 chalets furnished with 4 single beds, while the seventh chalet has a double bed. Each of these chalets has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower.
A central building that houses a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, and lounge. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, stove, oven, microwave, and crockery and cutlery. A dining table with ample seating space is available, while the lounge features comfy couches. The boma outside is ideal for a campfire or a braai, and includes a bar area on the upper level overlooking the river. An outdoor dining area with seating for up to 20 people is available near the swimming pool.
For recreation, there are canoes for guests to use, a table tennis table, a dart board, a pool table, and a TV with DStv. Guests can arrange game drives in advance or enjoy birdwatching and game viewing.
