Melkbos Beach Lodge offers self-catering accommodation and is located in Van Riebeeckstrand, in Melkbosstrand. This beachfront holiday home offers lovely ocean views from the back garden and is the ideal beach breakaway from busy city life.
The property makes use of solar power for lights during loadshedding. Please note that the fridge, aircon, oven, pool pump, panel heaters, and geysers are not powered by solar.
This fully furnished holiday home can accommodate up to 10 guests and consists of 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The main and second bedrooms each contain a king-size bed, the third and fourth bedrooms each have a queen-size bed, and the fifth bedroom has 2 single beds. Both bath and shower facilities are available in the bathrooms. The home features a well-equipped kitchen that contains a gas hob and an oven, a microwave, a fridge, and other appliances for convenience.
The adjacent open-plan living area offers sofas to relax on, a dining table with seating. The living area leads to an enclosed entertainment area that boasts a built-in bar with stools and sofas, with sliding doors that open to an enclosed braai area, pizza oven, and a ping-pong table. The braai area leads out to the garden and swimming pool.
In addition, the home features a private theatre room, secure garage parking, and direct access to the beach. The beach is well-known for kite and windsurfing, and there are quite a few shops, restaurants and pubs to visit in the town centre.
