Hidden away in the safe and peaceful environment of the North West Province, Mgankla covers 185 hectares of pure African bushveld which is located 11 km north of Brits, Lethlabile, a mere 80 km from Pretoria and 90 km from Sandton. Staying at Mgankla Lodge offers optimal comfort for an unforgettable getaway and a unique escape from busy city life.
This property offers the choice of either Nyala Camp which has a capacity of 22 guests, Kudu Camp which can accommodate 12 guests and Impala Camp Units 1 - 3 which can each accommodate 4 guests. These units’ bedrooms are either furnished with queen-size beds, single beds or child-only bunk beds. Each unit has its own bathroom facilities fitted with either a bath or a shower or both.
All units have a living area with a kitchen fully equipped with a gas stove, electric oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, cutlery and crockery as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. Leading from this kitchen is a cosy lounge space with comfy seating and a TV with DStv. This space also has a dining area where guests can enjoy their meals together.
Both Nyala and Kudu Camp have their own private swimming pools, while Impala Camp Units 1 - 3 all make use of a shared swimming pool. All 3 camps have their own outdoor entertainment space with braai facilities. Mgankla Lodge offers activities such as game viewing, bird watching, hiking, mountain biking, and swimming. Guests have access to a jungle gym for the little ones, bomas and braai facilities.
