Description
Mooinooientjie offers comfortable self-catering accommodation in a lovely home in Voëlklip. It is situated just a short stroll from Langbaai, Platbank, Voëlklip and Kammabaai surfing-hub beaches. The house has a contemporary, yet sleek farmhouse feel, and is designed to offer the ultimate holiday experience for family and friends.
All entrances lead to quaint front and back gardens or patios, with the main attraction being a large undercover patio and braai area that leads through the expansive sliding door and serving hatch-type window into the lounge with open-plan kitchen. The main bedroom also leads onto the patio. An additional sundeck provides the ideal spot for sunseekers, and the house features an external hot and cold shower to cool down after a day at the beach. Outside the secure walls of the home, one can enjoy views of the Overberg mountains when leaving the property.
The house can accommodate 8 guests and comprises 4 bedrooms, 3 of which are in the main house. The fourth bedroom is an outside cottage room. The main bedroom contains a queen-size bed and has an en-suite bathroom with a large shower. It is also equipped with a work-from-home desk and 2 couches for relaxing. The second and third bedrooms contain 2 single beds in each and have access to a shared bathroom with a shower and the functionality to fill a small tub with water for babies. The fourth bedroom in the cottage is furnished with 2 single beds that can be made into a king-size bed. It has an adjoining outside bathroom with a shower, and its own Smart TV. The cottage room is ideal for guests looking for additional privacy or for an au pair. All rooms have cupboard space.
The house comprises an open-plan kitchen, lounge and dining area. The kitchen is equipped for self-catering with a fridge-freezer, a gas hob and electric oven, a microwave, a kettle and toaster, and a coffee machine, as well as a dishwasher, washing machine and cleaning materials for convenience. In the lounge is a Smart TV with selected DStv channels and Netflix, and a wood-fired fireplace. Free Wi-Fi is also available.
Guests can enjoy the private garden, as well as the outdoor seating area for alfresco dining, and braai facilities. Off-street parking is available and the property is secure with an alarm system. There is enclosed storage space for a trailer, bicycles or kayaks.
The location offers access to beaches, a number of restaurants, art galleries and coffee shops. The property is not far from the lagoon and scenic walking and mountain biking trails on the mountain.
