Beautiful, clean, safe, tidy, lovely grounds, lovely owners, interesting, "home away from home". What a lodge! A place where you can just sit back, relax and have a great time. Game drive: Not a huge variety of game, but we concentrated on the breeding program. Walter's stories about the breeding program and how it works were very informative. His enthusiasm and dedication is something to experience. The accommodation is luxurious and we were given a lot of attention without being in the way. They made an extra effort with our daughter who is mentally disabled, especially the horses she was able to visit and horse combing was a highlight for her! We were only there for 3 days, but when we left it felt like we were saying goodbye to family. Thank you Walter, Rene, Reuben and Kiandra, and of course your dog staff, Buddy and Chelsea. Nice on the farm, quiet and away from everything. Walter's service excellent. Was nice to be away from all the hustle and bustle. The farm's tranquility is a pleasure, especially the visit around a fire. Felt safe. Beds and bedding - good mattresses and clean bedding. Good value for money.
