Mount Ceder Taaibos offers an ideal self-catering weekend destination, and is situated in the Cederberg Mountains offering guests a host of exciting accommodation and activity options. Located in a valley surrounded by rugged and interestingly dramatic mountains, Mount Ceder Taaibos is found on the main route through the Cederberg range.
Mount Ceder Taaibos house consists of 2 bedrooms, a loft room, and 2 bathrooms. Each bedroom is equipped with 2 single beds and features an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower or a bath, a washbasin, and a toilet. The loft room has 2 single beds as well. The open-plan kitchen contains a fridge, a microwave, a gas stove, and an oven. The adjacent living area has a fireplace and opens onto a deck, which has braai facilities.
For those who do not want to cater for themselves, there is a restaurant where one can order sumptuous meals. Dinners are a 3-course set menu and need to be booked 24 hours in advance. Activities include mountain biking, canoeing, hiking, bird-watching and swimming in the river. In addition to the opportunities for hiking and swimming on the property, Mount Ceder Taaibos is also within driving distance of many other Cederberg attractions and various 4x4 routes.
The Cederberg region is only 2 and a half hours from Cape Town and yet the landscape is completely different from that of the Mother City; wilder and warmer with raw, dramatic beauty.
