Description

Mount Sheba Rainforest Hotel and Resort is a beautiful resort located on the Panorama Route 22 km outside of Pilgrim’s Rest and is ideal for a peaceful and tranquil getaway hidden in lush indigenous rainforests which is also home to the rare Samango Monkeys only found in the Amazon and rainforests.

This lodge offers guests a variety of accommodation options which include either self-catering chalets, 4-sleeper family suites with a patio, or 2-sleeper King suites with either a private patio or balcony. The King Suites each have a king-size bed with a lounging area. The family suites comprise a separate bedroom that is furnished with a queen-size bed as well as 2 single beds in the living area.

The guest suites each have a fireplace, a TV with selected DStv channels, and a tea and coffee station with a bar fridge. There are eleven 6-sleeper Cottages and nine 4-sleeper Cottages. Each of these cottages features a living area with a lounge and a kitchen fully equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, cutlery, and crockery as well as a central dining table. They also have a lounge with comfy seating, a fireplace, and a TV with selected DStv channels. Access to free Wi-Fi is available in all suites, units as well as communal areas.

The Pet Friendly House comprises 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The first bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed while the second bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed. The third bedroom is furnished with 2 single beds and the bathroom is fitted with a shower, toilet and basin. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, microwave, stove, and oven as well as tea-and-coffee-making facilities. Guests are offered complimentary Wi-Fi.

The resort has 11 accredited walking trails to choose from, some of which take you to magnificent waterfalls and breathtaking views. The Knysna Turaco and Purple-Crested Turaco peek at you around every corner of the rainforest. Flyfishing is also available at an extra cost.
