Description
Mountain Canadian Log Home is an exquisite cabin situated alongside our Stone Cottage on a 5.2-hectare farm nestled in the mountains, just 5 km outside of Kalkheuwel. It is situated high on the side of a koppie overlooking the Lion and Safari Park and is situated close to Hartbeespoort.
This property can accommodate a total of 6 guests and comprises 3 bedrooms and a bathroom. The main bedroom overlooks a mulberry tree that has amazing birdlife and is furnished with a king-size bed, while the other 2 bedrooms are each furnished with a double bed. The bathroom is fitted with a shower, washbasin and toilet are available in the bathroom. All linen and bath towels are provided; however, guests are required to bring their own swimming towels.
The living area features a kitchen equipped with a gas stove, microwave, fridge-freezer, cutlery and crockery as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. Leading from the kitchen is a lounge with comfy seating and a flat-screen TV with streaming sites where guests can log into their own accounts. Access to Wi-Fi is available. Additionally, there is a cosy reading nook on the top level where guests can relax with a book.
Outside, there is a large covered patio with outdoor furniture, a dining table and a built-in braai. The property includes a wooden deck with a hot tub as well as a shallow splash pool. The garden stairs lead down to an outdoor braai space under the trees with a pizza oven. There are 4 swings and a monkey swing just outside the fenced-off area with a large sandpile that the kids are welcome to play in. Please take note that there are 2 cats and 2 dogs on the property and we do not advise guests with pet allergies to book.
