Mountain Rock Cottage offers comfortable self-catering accommodation nestled in the scenic Makhonjwa Mountainlands at the heart of the De Kaap Valley, Barberton, a region steeped in history and identified as the core of a proposed World Heritage Site. Ideal for those who enjoy the beauty of nature, the allure of outdoor activities combines to create a memorable and enriching stay.

Accommodation is offered in 2 free-standing self-catering cottages. Each cottage has a private entrance and accommodates between 4 and 6 guests. The bedrooms feature comfortable beds, and each has a bathroom fitted with a shower. Linen and bath towels are provided. Each unit includes a well-equipped kitchen and a lounging area. Additionally, each unit has braai facilities, while one of the units features a boma area, providing a perfect outdoor space for gatherings as well as a children's playground.

Guests can enjoy a variety of activities nearby, including birdwatching, self-drive 4 x 4 routes, invigorating hikes, fishing outings, and mountain biking. Explore the natural surroundings and spot small game such as kudu, impala, and bushbuck on leisurely walks. Mountain Rock Cottage is part of Cabrito Ranch, a registered Boergoat stud, where guests can interact with and assist in feeding the goats, which may be active at various times throughout the day.
