It was traumatic and brought a lot of stress to me and my kids. I booked in via the website. I thought it's a class lodge, but to my surprise it was dirty the furniture gathering dust, I had to call the assistant by the name of Lisa to change the sheets for us, no top sheet provided. Their linen is sub standard. We have to use our fumigation spray to kill mosquitoes. No electric kettle with cup, coffee or tea nor sweeteners. As if the above was enough, we have to endure screams for 2 days of a couple engaging in sexual intimacy which left my teenage daughters and myself very traumatised. The place is pathetic doesn't meet the standards of a lodge. I'm just lost for words to further explain the poor conditions of that place you so called a lodge. I'm from Eastern Cape and will never recommend that place to anyone. It left us very traumatised. In the middle of the night you're woken up with doors banged, people who are staying inside there coming in and out talking on top of their voices.

It's was not enjoyable, we were not allowed to use the pools or talk very loudly. I wouldn't recommend Mulu Lodge for a group getaway, their management is very unprofessional.

Good value for money. We were greeted by very friendly staff. Our room was clean and comfortable. The owner went the extra mile to get up at 3:30 to open the gate for us so that we could leave for the airport. Safe place to stay.
